About the owners
In August 2006, Sarah Graff and Meredith Johnson became the proud owners of Write Away, Inc. After moving headquarters from Memphis, TN to Minneapolis, MN, they embarked upon the exciting adventure of business ownership. From learning the design function to balancing the books, this enthusiastic team is now ready to usher Write Away into its next successful chapter.

Meredith’s story:
My connection with Write Away began in 2001, shortly after we adopted our first child, Gracie. I signed on as a sales rep of this wonderfully unique stationery…and not only did I love the product, but I also loved interacting with hostesses and customers at the home parties. I continued to grow my customer base and sales, and when I learned of the previous owner’s plan to sell, I just couldn’t imagine Write Away not being a part of my life.

After much prayer and consideration, I took the plunge…and, thankfully, went into business with my dear friend and neighbor, Sarah Graff. Our family has grown again with the addition of Isaac…and my husband (Keith) and I look forward to what lies ahead.

Sarah’s story:
In early 2003 - when I was pregnant with my first child - I made my first Write Away purchase. My husband (Jeremy) and I had decided not to share our son’s name (Alex)…but as my personalized stationery rep, Meredith was in on the secret!

If you would’ve told me then that I’d be a co-owner of the company three years (and one son, Charlie) later, I’m not sure I would’ve believed you. However, as I continue to dive into design and production, I am more and more confident that this is a great fit for me.

The future
As the business continues to grow, we have God to thank for all of it, including the wonderful people He has put into our path. He has blessed us with fantastic sales associates, employees and customers.
