Q: Is there an apostrophe (The Shelly's vs. The Shellys) in the last name when designing a Family Line product?
A: No! The family name is plural, not possessive. The correct addition to the last name is "s" or "es" (example, The Shellys or The Coxes). Another option is to personalize the product with the addition of the word "Family" (The Shelly Family).
Q: Can I change the hairstyle of a stick figure graphic?
A: No. We offer a variety of hairstyles throughout our graphics. You may change the hair color, but not the hairstyle. We suggest choosing a graphic with a hat if you are looking for a bald stick figure.
Q: Can I request glasses for a particular stick figure?
A: Yes, glasses may be specified in the special instructions box. Please clearly indicate glasses.
Q: Can I change the color of an animal's fur?
A: Sorry, we only change human fur (I mean hair!). We do have quite a few dogs and cats in many different colors. You may specify Large or Small regarding the size of your pet.
Q: Can I do a grouping of six or eight stick figures that is not a family?
A: Yes, just indicate the personalization instead of the family name. For example, a teacher's name could be substituted for the family name.
Q: Can I substitute for the "From the Mom of" wording?
A: Certainly! Some people opt for "From the Parents of", as well as other phrases.
Q: What if I don't see a graphic that I had previously ordered and I want to reorder it on a product?
A: Please contact your local sales associate or the Write Away home office to see if it is still available.
Q: Do you print addresses on envelopes?
A: At this time, we offer our fun addresses labels as our option for address information on an envelope. We do not print directly on envelopes.
Q: Can I request a graphic to be added in a future catalog?
A: We appreciate graphic suggestions from customers! You may send an email to info@writeaway.com. Throughout the year, we often add many new graphic suggestions to the web site. Check back often!
Q: Is there any way to receive an order and/or product sooner than the standard turnaround time?
A: You may opt to pay the rush fee. There is a $10 per item fee (not per order!!) plus direct shipping charge. Your rushed item will be shipped from the Write Away office within 3 business days of order.

Q: Does Write Away participate in fundraisers?
A: Many of our sales associates like to participate in fundraisers and can work with you if you are located in an area where we currently have a sales representative. Fax us information on your fundraiser and we will pass your name and information to the local sales associate.
Q: Does Write Away offer volume discounting on its products?
A: In certain case. Contact our home office and we will be happy to discuss the volume discounting options with you.
Q: I've seen a moving announcement by your company. Do you still offer them?
A: Yes, through our home office or a sales associate. Contact the home office for information.
Q: Does Write Away work with charities?
A: We sure do! A hostess may choose to donate a percentage of her sales in lieu of hostess product credit. Write Away has donated to: cancer centers, daycare centers, schools, PTAs, animal shelters, and many more. The Write Away office has chosen The Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse as our elected charity. We help with many different promotions through the year.

Q: I would love to host a Write Away party. Who do I contact?
A: Please review the list of current sales associates to see if we have one in your area. If we do, contact the office and we'll put you in touch with the sales associate in your area. If there isn't a sales associate in your area, we currently do not have a way for you to host a party. A sales associate is required to attend a party. Maybe you'd like to become a sales associate for your area!
